FAT32 Features

Filed under: Hard Disk Partition — sidhant @ 10:17 am

FAT32 supports drives up to 2 terabytes in size.

FAT32 uses the copy of the backup file allocation table in place of default copy to relocate the root folder.

The root folder is located anywhere on the FAT32 drive because the FAT32 is an chain of ordinary clusters hence more flexible.

Dual-Boot Computers

At this time, Win 95 OSR2, Win 98, Win 2000, and Windows Me are the only MS operating systems that can access FAT32 volumes.
